About Us

Founded in 2008 and rooted in precision manufacturing, SLEMON has evolved from a trusted OEM partner to the world's leading dancewear brands into a distinguished name in its own right. Since launching our brand in 2014, we have remained committed to a singular mission: to ensure every dancer—whether training for the stage or moving through life—wears dancewear that fits perfectly and feels exceptional.

The name SLEMON combines 'S' for Supreme—representing our uncompromising standards—with 'Lemon', a symbol of vitality and resilience. Like the lemon that thrives in demanding conditions, dancers embody strength and grace under pressure. Our products honor that spirit.

Based in Hong Kong with a global footprint, SLEMON crafts leotards, ballet shoes, and bespoke pointe shoes with the same meticulous attention to detail that once earned us the trust of international brands. Today, we channel that expertise into our own vision: dancewear that refuses to compromise.

Performance That Endures

We believe beauty is not enough. Dancewear must perform—not just on the first wear, but through countless rehearsals, performances, and washes. While textiles cannot last forever, we design with longevity as a guiding principle.

Our fabrics are selected not only for their softness but for their resilience. Every material undergoes rigorous testing to ensure it can withstand the demands of serious training. The result is dancewear that maintains its shape, elasticity, and integrity far longer than industry standards would require.

Each SLEMON piece is designed to move with your body—lightweight yet supportive, elegant yet built for action. Whether you're executing a perfect arabesque in the studio, performing under stage lights, or moving confidently through your day, our garments adapt seamlessly. This versatility is not accidental; it is engineered through thoughtful pattern-making and relentless refinement.

Built to Last, Worn with Confidence

Fast fashion asks you to buy often and dispose quickly. We take the opposite approach: buy once, wear for years.

From initial sketch to final stitch, each SLEMON garment passes through more than a dozen meticulous production stages. Our craftspeople—many of whom have been with us since our OEM days—apply techniques refined over decades. Seams are reinforced at stress points. Fabrics are pre-tested for pilling and color fastness. Elastic is sewn with precision to ensure it never digs or rolls.

Before any design reaches you, it is worn and tested by dozens of dancers—professionals and students alike—who move, stretch, and sweat in our prototypes. They tell us what works and what doesn't. We listen, adjust, and perfect. Only when a piece can endure real-world demands without compromise does it earn the SLEMON name.

The result? You never worry about a seam splitting mid-rehearsal. You feel the fabric glide over your body, following every contour without restriction. You move freely, knowing your dancewear will keep up.

Our pointe shoes exemplify this philosophy. Each pair is handcrafted with multiple layers of reinforced insoles, bonded with environmentally-safe adhesive and shaped through repeated pressing and refinement. This labor-intensive process—traditional yet enhanced by modern materials—creates a foundation that supports dancers through the most demanding routines. It is this same uncompromising standard we apply to every leotard and ballet shoe we create.

Ethical & Sustainable Practices

We have the capacity for mass production—our factory infrastructure could produce thousands of units daily. But for SLEMON, we have made a different choice: every piece in our brand collection is handcrafted in small batches by skilled artisans.

This decision reflects our values. As a SEDEX-certified manufacturer, we ensure our workers are treated fairly and that conditions meet international ethical standards. Our supply chain is transparent, our processes are auditable, and our commitment to people is non-negotiable.

Sustainability guides our material selection. All adhesives, dyes, and treatments meet stringent environmental standards. We prioritize natural and recycled fibers wherever performance allows, and continuously research innovations in eco-friendly textile technology.

Even our packaging reflects this ethos. Every SLEMON shipment arrives in heavyweight, biodegradable cardboard designed for longevity and reuse. We don't just want you to recycle the box—we want you to repurpose it. Store your dance accessories. Organize your closet. Use it for years. The material is built to last, just like our garments.

Our designs are timeless, not trendy. We create pieces that transcend seasons and fads, that become staples in your dance wardrobe rather than fleeting purchases. This is sustainability in its truest form: making less, making better, and making it last.

The SLEMON Standard

From the beginning, we have believed that excellence in craft creates excellence in experience. Our history as an OEM manufacturer taught us precision. Our evolution into a brand has taught us vision.

We are not chasing trends. We are not cutting corners. We are building dancewear that honors the dedication of every dancer who trusts us—whether you're a soloist preparing for opening night or someone who simply loves the feeling of moving with purpose.

Every stitch, every seam, every choice we make is in service of one promise: when you wear SLEMON, you wear something made with integrity, designed with intention, and built to support you at your best.

SLEMON. Made for those who move with purpose.
